Summer is Over… Already?
I love summer. I love the vacations, (the beach is my favorite), playing in the sprinkler, fresh tomatoes, watermelon, lemonade, long sunny days, any excuse for ice cream, warm evenings and did i mention the beach.
It’s labor day weekend and as a child my family always spent this last weekend of the summer at the beach. I haven’t done that in years so I’m not sure why I’m missing it so much right now… maybe it’s b/c we only went to the beach once this year.
No worries, I still have two beach trips planned but hey I’m a super fan of the beach. I’ve had at least 3 beach vacations a year as long as I remember. So here are some photos of our last beach vacation.
I have to preface this with… I am normally the photographer of the family (I’m the memory keeper) but I make it a point to get in a couple of the photos. I urge all moms or dads (whoever is the family photographer) to set it up and hand the camera over, so they can get photos with the kids… and that is what I did to get these cute hugging and kissing photos with my boys. I’m not that proud of my posture but never want to forget these precious moments of motherhood. - E & G ‘s Mom.
