This week was full of some special moments and memories with some great friends and family and I appreciate so many people in my life.
The boys and I enjoyed lots of good times together… pool time, strawberry picking, a picnic in the park, playtime at the park making a model car out of plaster and painting it, a birthday party, some cleaning out and dressing up and a couple other little projects.
This week the redpepper 31 day challenge ended… and although I don’t have to show appreciation as part of a growth challenge, I’m trying to stick with it and keep showing appreciation to those around me everyday.
My sister, mom and dad also visited this week and it was so nice to have them here helping while I had a garage sale with our neighbors and a friend. It was fun and I raked in some pretty good money for stuff we really didn’t want anymore. (unfortunately, I didn’t get my camera out to capture them playing with the boys.) I could post a photo of our garage sale but that would be kinda boring. :)
So, grateful to have such a wonderful husband… who is such an AWESOME dad. (photo from the day the boys were born.)
Sitting at the table for dinner and the boys are talking at the same time. G stops and says looks at me and says..
G: Ethan said wee wee at the table and that is a potty word.
E: No, I said, ” Weeee…. Weeeee, like if you were on a roller coaster and there were two humps and the people on the roller coaster would say weeeee and then weeee again.”
Me: Nice recovery. Pretty clever son.
